Jaeger Aviation owner Bruce Jaeger didn't have a childhood dream of being a
pilot. He began his career as a public school teacher. Soon, however, flying
was presented as a business opportunity by his in-laws, the long-time owners of
Willmar Air Service in Willmar, Minn. Today, Bruce’s experiences with Mooney
service, sales, cold-weather flying and clients of all experience levels have
gained him respect from Mooney owners nationwide.
Bruce's many years of experience enable him to tailor training to the client's level, always challenging in a non-threatening, calm environment. Bruce understands that success comes one step at a time — and that a client's success is the best motivator.
Managing a Mooney Service Center also created the opportunity for Bruce to learn about the aircraft and its systems. Bruce has seen firsthand the results of aircraft and engine neglect and abuse, which he's expertly turned into priceless teaching aids for current Mooney owners.
In 2006, Bruce's experience and service to general aviation were recognized with the National Association of Flight Instructors (NAFI) master CFI accreditation — a testament to Bruce's ongoing commitment to excellence in aviation.
In addition to offering personal flight instruction, Bruce works with other experienced Mooney flight instructors through the Mooney Aircraft Pilot’s Association Safety Foundation (MAPASF). The Safety Foundation provides regional flight clinics multiple times a year for pilots who prefer group events with the camaraderie of other Mooney pilots. To learn more about Safety Foundation flight clinics, refer to the Jaeger Aviation calendar of events or the Safety Foundation Web site at www.mapasafety.com.
